About Us
Richard
has been helping people with their horses and “horses with their
people” for over 20 years. In 1979 Richard had the privilege to work
for the famed horseman Troy Henry of Clovis, California. That was his
first introduction to higher levels of horsemanship and Equine Psychology.
After graduating from Horse Shoeing school he moved to Salinas,
California, and joined the rodeo team at Hartnell College. It was in
Salinas that he met his wife Cheryl and together built a successful
training business with their last training facility located in San Juan
Bautista, California. Richard and Cheryl’s Horsemanship dreams
materialized when they purchased 1,000 acres of undeveloped range land in
the high dessert of Lassen County in 1997. Winters
Circle Diamond Ranch and Horsemanship Center has now become a place where
people can bring their horses and enjoy horsemanship adventures that bring
education and vacation together!
Cheryl has
written 12 short episodes depicting the adventures they encountered while
getting their ranch up and running. Cheryl will have you laughing one
moment while near to tears the next. This is a composite you will
definitely want to read. For only $10.00 you can have this in your hands
with your very own personalized, signed cover! Click here for ordering
