All Women's Horsemanship Retreat
June 29-July 2, 2012
Due to popular demand we are looking forward to our All Women's Horsemanship Retreat!

Our ladies have a great time each year and this year promises to be even better. This is a weekend where women with the same interest and love for horses are able to be pampered and enjoy each others company as they spend hours with their equine partners. Participants arrive Friday afternoon, anytime after 2:00 p.m. to get their horse’s and themselves settled. We officially begin with dinner around 5:30 p.m. followed by orientation. Participants stay right here in Thacher’s dorms (2 twin beds per dorm) and enjoy three meals a day in the school’s dining hall. Our time will first be spent helping you with your specific horsemanship issues! We’ll also be riding out on some beautiful trails around the Thacher campus. Richard will work with individuals and their horses, each afternoon, for special projects. We will saddle up again after dinner and ride into the evening. Everyone’s invited to join Richard and Cheryl for a short cowgirl church service at Thacher’s beautiful Outdoor Chapel. The cattle working session is always a highlight! The weekend will culminate with an evening ride where Richard will share a few of his favorite stories and lead you in a “Candle-light” Western sing-a-long! This is a great time to connect with your horse enhance your horsemanship skills and make some lasting friendships.

Richard enjoys all of his meals in the dining hall with the participants so he is available throughout the weekend. If you are unable to bring your own horse you can lease a Thacher horse for $50.00 per day! (An additional $100.00 for the weekend.)

$650.00 for an "All Inclusive" weekend! Dorm room, meals, horse board and feed. What a deal!
