Horseman’s Holiday
July 25-28 (Friday-Monday) 

Men and Women; Young and Old, you’re all invited! Here is an opportunity to create some amazing horsemanship memories. We’ll get started with some solid horsemanship advice from Richard as he helps participants with everything from equipment adjustments, ground work, riding safety, and whatever else needs addressing. 

We’ll have an opportunity to ride some Thacher trails and have fun “playing” with the cows. (Cows are the all time favorite at “The All Women’s Horsemanship Retreat” and “The Ultimate Horse Course!”) Throw in Cowboy Church, an evening ride, and a few cowboy songs and you’ll agree that you’re going to enjoy a great Horseman’s Holiday!

Participants arrive Friday afternoon, anytime after 2:00 pm to get their horses and themselves settled. We officially meet for dinner at 5:30 pm with orientation immediately following. Participants introduce themselves and share where they are on their horsemanship journey. Participants stay right here in the dorms and enjoy three meals a day in the schools dining hall.
	Depending on the weather you may have the afternoon off to take a nap, enjoy the pool, tour the town of Ojai, or watch Richard work "one on one" with a participant's horse in the sun - while you observe on the side lines, in the shade, with a cool drink in hand!

$650.00 for an "All Inclusive Weekend!” Dorm room (2 people per room), 3 meals per day, water and snacks, horse board and feed. What a deal!

If you are unable to bring your own horse you can lease a Thacher horse for $50.00 per day! (An additional $100.00 for the weekend.)
