My friend Ken McNabb designed this bit and I really like it. It is a variation of the old “elevator bit.” However, the shanks and the purchase are much shorter. This bit will help young and older horses that have gotten stiff and unresponsive to the snaffle. We started using this bit on some of the older school horses that have gotten somewhat unresponsive. You’re going to like the new feel that can be achieved when this bit is used properly. Can be used with or without a chinstrap.
