Devote
an entire week of horsemanship with Richard Winters at The
Thacher School. Just you and your horse for an entire week.
We’ll cover ground manners to lead changes, trail riding
in the Las Padres to cattle working, and everything in
between.
We’re going to personalize this horsemanship week
to your particular needs and desires. The Ultimate Horse
Course is the most comprehensive and extensive event we
offer. If you’re ready for more equine understanding and
improved horsemanship skills, this course is for you.
Richard enjoys all of his meals in the dining hall, with the
participants so he is available throughout the weekend. If
you are unable to bring your own horse you can lease a
Thacher horse for $50.00 per day! (An additional $250.00 for
the weekend.)

a fee of $1,700. we provide lodging for you and your horse,
meals, and hands on instruction from Richard Winters daily!
This
event begins Friday evening with dinner and concludes
Thursday morning with breakfast.
